Did I dream this? I was sure that following the wet spring the end of may timeline had been increased but I can't find any links to it.
Can someone confirm or deny with a link if possible? Many thanks

I thought the old ‘deadline’ was 15th June?? But yes end of July this year. I’ve also heard today that the ahl2 rules have also been relaxed and that only has to be established within 18 months of contract signing? Anyone confirm that? That would mean year 1 not needing to do anything so I’m a little nervous…

I thought the old deadline was 1st week of july....so glad of extension🙈

however as the sowing date is under 'recommended management' .......doesn't that mean it's really at growers discretion.....ie as long as you get a crop?

Yes my agronomist mentioned the 18 month extension, same for I believe AB8, got most of mine in in the Spring and most has come well, heavy ground I hope to plant this Autumn. But the extension will allow for any failures. Growing OSR seems child splay in comparison to AB8!!

Put in a load of ab9 about 6 weeks ago. It's pot luck with rain at this time or yr. Hardley anything is growing and what has is being eaten by everything. Probably have to re drill but we still keep missing any real rain here in the south east.

Only thing is you 'harvest' AB8 whether it grows or not (provided have that all important seeds invoice), not so sure with OSR!

I read that if the option gave you 12 months to establish, it had been increased to 18 months.
I'm not doing anything that requires a specific date so don't know about that.
