From what I have been told by those that know, your adblue system has to be working perfectly with no faults or codes before they delete it or it all goes wrong. So if you have a faulty adblue system you would have to get it repaired before you get it deleted.

It was a monumental fup from the start. Before we had it deleted we had a Class fitter coming to the field every 3 or 4 hours to sort the de rate when the adblue fault flashed up. This went on for days. I was desperate for a cure, the guy was recommended by someone I know and trust albeit his combine was a bit older. For whatever reason it didn’t work, created loads of problems and stress and in the end cost me plenty to put right. I won’t name and shame but I stand by the fact I would never let anyone tinker with my kit again.

Did he tell you the system needed to be working correctly before hand? If he new it had an active fault and did it anyway it should be him paying the bill to put it right and I wouldn't hesitate in naming him. If he didn't know and assumed it was in working order, maybe not his fault?
It does amaze me how trusting some people are letting folk mess with a 6 figure piece of equipment.

Having said that Claas and Merc need a kicking for not being able to fix the original fault.

Not true.
If the machine is in full derate due to an ad blue fault you will probably need ome software to reset the derate before mapping but the faulty pump or nox sensor would not need changing in every instance.
