Design fails

Is it just me or has @Bald Rick just raised a valid basic design fault on a frontline machine putting it on this forum to both show his frustration and hopefully to be seen by the manufacturers that we all know lurk on here, only to be greeted by a barrage of unhelpfulness. When I seen the title of this thread I thought it was going to be a good thread for us to highlight design flaws of equipment to the powers that be, unfortunately doesn't seem to be heading that way.

Thank you. At least someone got what I was driving at (y)

I understand as well, went to a demo day.
They had a round baler combi prototype there and it was a tad damp. The mud from the wheels was flicking up and was all over the electronic control box for operating the machine from outside the cab. And I mean it was plastered. Guess the CAD didnt show where the mud flies to?

Nope all 3 are working but no time for pratting about. There was nothing wrong with the filler up by top of arm on the older models. Tinkering because they can with little thought to practicalities

I bet they are like new, never been used?

My favourite was the suction filter/lift pump combo on the older jcb 530-70. In its later life, with admittedly an accumulation of sediment in the tank, the stupid little plastic filter used t choke then get sucked up into the pipe and block it, so disconnect at sediment bowl and blow it back, then pump the hand primer- located directly below the turbo meaning you burnt your arm pumping the fuel.
