Designing a sliding roof

at present we take off the roofing sheets in order for the wood chipper to blow chip into the chip store, in the ideal world I’d like a water proof roller shutterdoor on the roof so all that I’d have to do is press a button to open is this possible and has anyone designed a similar system ?

Do you have a picture of shed/store?

Making suggestions would be easier if we knew the setup

In NZ I saw some sheds where the roof pushed back on tracks to allow tippers to unload.

look at the superphosphate stores in West Australia, mind you not a push button to open them!
They would be better to take the extre legs at the back and weld them on the uprights to shove it up another ten feet high, then you tip inside.
The irish idea is too complex, it will jam after getting hit or the wind would get both of them.
A big skylight on hydraulic rams would be better, with big f.uck off locking pins to protect from gales
