anyone have a deutz 5 series with isobus? i have a problem where my terminal is unable to pickup the speed, tested the terminal in a 7 series it works fine

the dealer replaced all the electronic wiring, along with the isobus ecu and main ecu, still nothing, there is nothing else left to replace! getting annoyed

was wondering if anyone else has the same problem

thanks

i have the mueller touch 800, sorry i'm not in the uk :( anyway, its not a problem with the screen because it works in other tractors, there is something wrong with my tractor, and i was wondering if anyone else had the same problem, dealer has been trying to fix it for 6 months now... they had a tech come from the factory even and no luck

yes exactly, i choose the option wheel speed via can, no success, radar via can also does not work, for now i'm stuck with using gps speed

terminal also doesnt get the rear lift position

but i can communicate with isobus implements just fine and control them, ie: the amazone ZAV, everything else works, just not the speed from tractor sensors or rear lift position

the in cab and outside rear isobus plugs were from the factory, the terminal i purchased myself after i got the tractor

i think someone was having a bad day at the factory, because the first thing i noticed was the rear 12v plug was reversed + and -, i fried 4 phone chargers, so this lead me to buy an isobus terminal early while the tractor was still under warranty, and guess what, isobus isn't fully working... my suspicion was right

i dont know, i assume so, since deutz keeps replacing wiring harnesses and ECUs, but thats why i'm looking for another person with a 5 series to confirm they have speed showing in isobus or not via aftermarket terminal

Normally for ISO speed you need a TECU installed. The TECU "translates" the speed from the Deutz CAN network and broadcasts it on the ISO network.

The dealer should be able to confirm if there is one fitted.
