We are thinking of changing our NH 6070 for the above to do a bit of everything inc some harvest loader work nothing heavy just bales etc , just wondering how your getting on with them ? Ps We have got a good local dealer for Deutz . Thanks

The dealers are fine the tractors are the problem. There troublesome enough . I have to tell it as it is. I'd be sticking to a new holland for another few yrs till deutz sort out loads of issues.

2nd hand?
A good loader tractor in general, front axle can be variable, check for lock it can be poor. Drive the tractor and see what the manoeuvrablity is like, some are good and some poor. Good tractor in general

My neighbours Deutz has just had its oil clutch replaced for the second time and it's only around 1600hrs. And most of the others locally seam to suffer similar problems and Deutz back up is dreadful.

Good loader tractor with very good visibility for loader work.

6190 can seem sluggish on road compared with 6180 as 6190 usually on 42 inch rims.
Multi disc brakes ,
Clutch like on any other tractor is only as good as the person using it.
Back up is primarily from your dealer and you say you have a good one locally so shouldn't be a problem and manufacturer back up much improved over the last few years.
Front axle suspension bushes on ram ends worth a look as can wear other than that a decent machine and more reliable than some would like to have you believe.
Steering lock is adjustable to a point and depends on tyre size obviously
At the end of the day it's your money if it's right for you and does your job ....

Can you be exact with the troublesome bits?

Is it the ZF transmission shared with Kubota,Landini and McCormick?

Is it the Deutz engine.

Is it the front axle?

Is it the wiring, software, hydraulic plumbing and cab which are the bits Deutz Fahr actually make and assemble.

these conversations can get blurred yale!......don't mention the T7100 trans! the T7200 trans in the larger units went well

The 150.6 and 150.7 models were exceptional machines then they went to the M series which suffered badly by comparison and was not half the machine and did suffer from main clutch issues early on.
The 6000 series were a much better tractor all over and the latest 6000 series tractor is an exceptional bit of kit.
A 6180 is a good all round tractor , th C-shift model is very well received.

The 6,000 series is a vast improvement over the M series in every way other than the front axle.
The suspension is poor, but you have to turn it off when you are using the loader anyway, but at least with the 6cyls you can turn it off, unlike the 4cyls. My 4cyl 6160.4 has a tight front axle for reason and on full lock it tries to go straight rather than turn, it is not adjustable stops, I have driven a good few other new 6,000 series and a few of them were similar. I believe it is getting better as it loosens up, but my 6cyl MF6490 has almost as good a turning circle.
It only seems to effect some of them. I drove a 6150.4 and it was one of the most nimble tractors I ever drove.
Test drive the one you are looking at and see what it is like.

Ok. The tractor was split after 100 hrs wit clutch problems. Every sensor in the tractor has nearly bein replaced. Stopped up in the middle of a village one day couldn't be moved wit Gearbox sensors lost a day sowing corn. Differential lock seals collapsed. Spool valve gaskets pee'd out oil in a grain store one day had to go home. Looking for my third exhaust pipe in 3000hrs . Heavy on adblue and not light on diesel .

Not good.

We have a m620 and the only thing apart from servicing has been a 4wd solenoid valve which failed.

Hasn't done huge hours though.
