Deutz 8280 - The worse purchase of my life!!!

Higher rake angle on the pump so less efficient at the lower speed end of a range which is why a fendt will just lock up if you try heavy draft in high range.
Fendt is also fully hydraulic in reverse so a lot less efficient mowing as a reverse drive unit than with a butterfly set up.

You can tell I am no Fendt operator: I always thought gear eines was for heavy draft verk and gear zwei was fur invading France.
 
How are the 7250s fairing on long term reliability ? had one on demo a few years ago and really liked it , same gear box as I'm used to in my blue Steyr and imo probably the best no having to change ranges at bottom of hills ect and yes have driven the holy 724!! 😀

You keep the blue Steyr, good machines. IF you buy a Deutz everyone at the pub will only laugh at you. You could of course always buy a Valtra.
