I had contractor had a 6. Something about 150hp it did loads of relatively trouble free hrs , they quite cheap I think if I could find a big one mint I will have one good classic that won’t loose any money .We had an agrostar 6.08, was a brilliant tractor, difficult to fault, let down only slightly by being air cooled. It set on fire one day when chain harrowing and burned out.

you like them then !Terrible tractors, if you find a mint one let me know. ?
I don’t know but the 180 94 is a good yoke n all !Deutz 6.71 is identical apart from the tin, to a Renault 180-94.? Water cooled MWM, Same titan back end?
Ye dont want 1 o them way the powershift box. Be betr way a 6.31 or 6.61
Oh I see, can you not get them with just an ordinary box ?Ye dont want 1 o them way the powershift box. Be betr way a 6.31 or 6.61
Ah so best option would be 6.61 then do they come with powershift as well ?Na its only up to 6.61. They have the same powershift as large renault and same titan and these tractors woludnt have good reputation for tranny reliability
Far as i know there a manual tranny but al get corrected if am wrong. Local contractor had a 6.31 and he wired sum thing on injector pump straight to battery and man could she pull. Never done her no harm eitherAh so best option would be 6.61 then do they come with powershift as well ?

I forgot, how you liking her ?As you know, I bought one last year 6.61
There’s a splitter on each gear so basically L M H R x 6 in each ratio x 2
I forgot, how you liking her ?
Fir the price of them now some bang for your buck I’d say , to hell with the new stuff. For a 30 yr old tractor, she’s brilliant. Leaks a bit of oil via the cooler and from the back end and the brakes were shot when we got her but sorted now.
Certainly earning her corn
The only drawback way them is price o parts. Remember that fella tellin me price of new dry clutch and it was mega bucks compared to massey or fordFir the price of them now some bang for your buck I’d say , to hell with the new stuff.
