Does anyone know how to replace the cab fans in an Agrotron 140? I have the seat out, and one side is not working. Just haven't a clue where to start digging, it looks a horrible job! Will I have to get the aircon re-gassed?

Snap. I was doing mine today. The fans are ok, just the resistor for the right fan needed replacing, bit of a sh%t job to get to fans but got there tonight, just got to rebuild everything tomorrow. Whoever designed the system needs to be hanged by his ba%ls, very slowly [emoji20][emoji20][emoji20][emoji20].

Agreed, we only changed one fan, but what a daft setup. Had to dismantle all one side of the cab. Managed to pick up a reasonably priced fan from QTP, through their English agents Acorn machinary.

My left hand fan has seized and burnt out, have been looking for a non original replacement tonight but no joy so far.
Will have a look at Qtp.

The genuine ones are only about £100
Did 2 fans last yr on a deutz 118
Van man did it for less than half the dealers quote
The aircon has been off for about 4 yrs, just luxury now

Pretty much every tractor on the market has the fans buried under the floor, it’s the only available space to put them or you end up with them in the roof and a cab too high or too cramped. Operators want room and storage space.
Difficult to access cab fans are the sacrifice made to give operators room and storage for their everyday working space.
If you are buying aftermarket fans try and get the new type with the water sealed bearing and the rubber mounting block , the old type had the foam mounting block, water used to get in the outside cab filters if you were a bit close with the steam cleaner and trickle down into the base of the fan housing and the foam block soaked it up into to the bearing and seized the bearing.

Must be a german thing.. The Fendt 612 heater fan was under the cab floor! I mean bolted to the gearbox!! Had to lift the mat and floor panels out, it was a back breaker.. The whole motor and filter blocked up with oil and ground and chaff. Total rubbish design.. Then the one in the roof on top of a heavy panel just about killed you every time you had to mess with it. Thank god I sold that machine and got the mb1500.. Far more successful

Got a deutz M620, replaced second cab fan and resistor, but can only get speeds 1 and 2 on the fan. Both fans ok, both resistors ok, switch appears to work ok, can hear 2 relays clicking, one with speed 3, one speed 4. Any ideas?
