Deutz MK3 problem

One for someone with abit of knowledge on deutz mk3 tractors before I start ripping unnecessarily… a deutz mk3 with unknown hours got a new clutch a few years ago when the tractor is hot and stopped but running if you let the clutch out fully it won’t go forward or back until cold… also if the tractor is hot and turned off it won’t start back up until Cold just wondering has anyone had any problems like theses and what’s the best way to go about fixing them TIA

If the tractor is not starting I would be looking at the green neutral switch on the gear lever under the cab . They often fail

Would that be only when it’s hot tho ??

Yes definitly if the contacts in switch are heating up. Does the tractor not wind over at all when hot ?
