Our Deutz is 5yrs old next month:eek:, it was the first 7250 sold in the Uk and it’s been a good tractor. We used to change our main tractor every 5 yrs but with me almost full time elsewhere now there’s not enough hours on it to justify changing:(.

Had my first go with it today, Dads been ploughing with it for a few days.

The salesman came out this morning and I think we've got to grips with all the menus.

Purring along at 1450 rpm on our light land!

SSSSOOOOOO jealous!

I see you've that front suspension still active. Presumably the new ones don't lock up with 4wd any more, unless you've had the laptop on it?

Have you tried playing with engine rpm to see where the sweet spot is for pulling vs fuel usage?

Do you notice any improvement in grip with the fully locking front differential?

How many questions can you answer after only a few hours in the seat?:D

Suspension is doing a lot of work when you watch it, it's a very smooth ride even at 9kph on cultivated land. Ive got a meeting now but if I can get back out later ill try and do a video of it, George Saunders style!

As the gearbox is in auto mode I've been playing with this grey dial to try and find the sweet spot, it seems about 25-30% maintains enough revs and also means it doesn't change down too many gears on the headlands.

But it may be that it's more economical to use the gearbox manually and set the revs, haven't tried that yet.

A topgear review, haven't driven it for long enough to find many faults yet, the key thing is getting used to a semi auto gearbox that it's possible to stall after doing a lot on a cvt which sorts out whatever you throw at it.

Lovely.

Don’t think I’d ever change our basic m620 for one as my father would have a meltdown with all the electronics.

Not to worry you, but your diesels low

Nice video, I hope to get a demo soon (y)

Our ground is still wayyyy to wet to get out in mine....

I thought the front suspension was meant to be switched off for cultivation? @DrDunc

I’m very jealous of you soil though @Daniel

I’m praying for sun and warmth to get out and play although at least this weather may mean that my sprayer section control is fitted before I go spraying this year...

I don't know about the new ones but on my TTV 430 you have a record function. It works well by doing a headland turn it picks up the functions then you have to time the spools. You can also group function together on on tip or tip each function. I will admit it did take a bit of playing with to find out what's what.

I'm heading back to the yard in a bit I'll check before giving any information it's been six months since I set the headland management up. I know what I got in the end, how I got there I'll have to check:scratchhead:
