bide moaning about the big county shows
they are a showcase for the products we produce and our industry as a whole ,the public come in their droves to see these things and they need to come out with good impressions , if that means providing them with tat stalls and fairground rides to keep them there for more than five minutes then alls the better
we as farming folk prefer smaller more personal and less crowded events and places ,which is what the smaller local shows provide ,the local dealers can afford to go to these shows and probably get more sales from them
Folks don't appreciate the overheads and fixed costs associated with running big shows. I can't say I'd want to try from scratch
