Diagnosis tools

Hi there, I'm thinking on buying a used tractor and here in Spain is very common to lower the hours that the tractor show in the display to make the tractor look less used than it is. It's a fraud but there is a lot. Is it possible to know the real hours and if any component is failing with a diagnosis tool like jaltest agv?
Did someone try this tool?

IMO you should ask the dealers.
Luckily in the motor car world there is now competition with Snap On in the likes of Autel.
I do wonder if tractor diagnostics are a rule unto themselves though.

Jaltest is very very good, but does come at a similarly hefty cost and annual subscription.
