Could someone explain the do's and don'ts of each please?

Diamond discs don't like cutting metal
They are OK for that as the metal is tight held in the concrete what I meant is they don't like cutting a piece of metal in the vice say, there's just no comparison between a stone cutting disc and a diamond as said it will cut like a hot knife through butterThanks.
What is best to cut a concrete post with reinforcing rods?
if its for metal as in a metal cutting disc got one in my cut off saw but the concrete diamond cutting discs generate too much heat cutting just metal and warpI know a builder mate would cut through a girder with his diamond in stihl saw
10/6 sort of size. ?
Is that okay
