that was a family joke about when she was a child...she can be a bit 'grumpy' first thing....if she overslept they used to draw lots to see who went in to wake her up 😁 😁

You got sheep or mum problems? If it’s sheep why not see if Bopeep could help you sort it quickly. If it’s mum can you not arrange a couple of days respite care? You won’t be too far away in an emergency. Take care of your self, you are no good to either mum or sheep if you are knackered, of all people you really do deserve a rest at the moment.

monday

just in...desperately poor mood.....didn't feel well going into the weekend....now tired....sh!te day.......supposed to have a coupla days away on the broads this week......but difficult to leave current 'sh!te storm'.....knowing it'll be a bigger feck up when i get back:(
That's a rum ole job, a nice party with loads of lovely grub and the rewards of the extra splash of old spice Saturday night and still a poor mood.😉

Get away from it in your mini break on the broads it'll do you good, a disaster won't happens while your away and things won't be half as bad as you expect when you return.........unless your boat sinks, then it would be pretty 💩🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

thats just it....going into the weekend i was trying to get max done but didn't feel 100%.....then late night (had to be)....drink (had to)......but then had to be there for mum next morning.....tried to 'repair' myself sunday but then things got on top of me yesterday

mum is 90% better physically and a lot better mentally since i've taken over her medication....but it's been a long pull and inevitably i'm behind elsewhere

i make no secret i suffer from depression myself...i know a few of you do to.....if you don't it can be hard to comprehend.......my body just aches head to toe.....getting motivated is really hard....you say you are tired but really you just want to retreat to bed where the world can't get you.....then it becomes a viscous circle cos things get neglected and get worse

when i'm ok life is no problem but when get tired or off colour you go down hill rapidly......i'm also having to find extra effort to try and gradually put things on an easier footing for the future....finding that effort isn't easy

anyway....had to 'throw the towel in' on spraying off barley before we go....it's not a spraying morning here never mind combining  ....got K organised(y)......mum sorted(y)......and off we go til friday...fingers crossed:)

Have a great time and a rest, it won’t be the first time combining doesn’t happen until September and it certainly won’t be the last. Stop rushing enjoy your time with Mrs Spin you will feel better coming home recharged. Just take your water wings in case @robbie’s thoughts come true! 😂.

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) has today, Thursday, October 14, published the findings of The Big Farming Survey, which shows 35% of English and Welsh farmers are either possibly or probably depressed.

The survey, based on over 15,000 responses, concentrates on the health and well-being of the farming community in England and Wales in the 2020s.

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) is a national charity that provides support to the farming community across England and Wales.
