Im inching to see the Deere Jon in action.

I'd recommend taking a fat one with you spin because after a hour you'll need something to mellow the mood!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

day started well enough....swabbed the decks in admirals quarters......sheep seem happy.....battery for combine charged ..on and she starts first time(y)......get her out tommoz:scratchhead:

hadn't done arkwright run sat so popped down and regailed him with our boating adventures.....he was very interested in the 'baccy story' but i twigged he didn't get the joke...SOooo ;) thought i'd have a little sport... playing on his fear of loosing a sale i say 'tell you what if i could find that baccy around here i'd switch'......'i can get it...i can get it if it's in this country' panics arkwright 'what did you say it was called?',,,,'sensimilla' i reply.....'sounds spanish' arkwright furiously writes😁😁

i get my 'comeuppance' after lunch😭......mrs spin and boy were going to ferry HH's friends to norwich for a pre birthday 'meal' (p!ss up)......before that i take van and mrs spin picks me up from next straw field 3 miles away...plan was i then take baler and can come/go as i please.....cept on way home she clips a protruding stone in next village...totals tyre and, i think. alloy wheel:banghead:......finally their on the way....i'm off with vermeer....get off to a good start(y).....then loose a bolt holding a shoulder that holds a cog (odd set up).....i'm hot bothered and declare for day.....long second lunch....fettle admiral then ,as it's cooler, do a few jobs to prep for tommoz

oh deere update:rolleyes:....put new belt on the tieing mechanism.....but it doesn't drive when mechanism tripped:scratchhead:...i can get it to run by tensioning with screw driver but possibly not enough:scratchhead:.....there's a threaded adjustment perhaps i need to tighten that:scratchhead:......havn't really got time at mo to feck about with her TBH.....baler score vermeer 180....oh deere ..0 :rolleyes:

It would send me round the bend not having a new purchase up and running and In top notch fettle.
Using a new but of kit is up there with the best pleasures in life!!!!!........am I said????

my trouble is a/ i'm not the best mechanical minded... but b/ constant 'calls/interruptions'....take tommoz.....admiral needs pills collecting....horse vet coming for routine visit......that on top of usual and in between trying to look over the combine ( which i've been trying to do for weeks :banghead: ) and get a baler working:rolleyes:.....then there's the 'unexpected':rolleyes:

Did the baler not come fromYOMB in which case it should be in working order or is it an eBay/Cambridge auction special? 🤔

Have you checked the condition of the connecting link that goes in between the seat and the steering wheel????

In my experience if that link Is a bit "iffy" it can cause alsorts of machanical issues with all types of implement, if the link is "iffy" then the only real solution is to bin it and replace for a newer one!!!!!😉
