dear diary...this could be my last entry.....a few minutes ago mrs spin kicked me off the telly for 'strictly'.....i was re watching 'the imitation game' having tired of 'peaky blinders' during season two....googling the episode guide and deciding there on in it was gonna be complete tosh.....anyway.... mrs spin had been cooking mince pies for church tommoz and her parting comment 'NO YOU CAN'T HAVE A MINCE PIE':(.....suffice to say ,i have particular fondness for home cooked mince pies and zero self control.....mother in law always states 'jimmy...you can resist anything bar temptation'........SOooo i'll let you guess what just happened :bag:

my impending doom apart it had been a good day(y)...had a lie in.....took beet out to ewes....finished lane repairs ....and scrounged a free crunchie bar outta arkwright all before 1pm......picked up the freezer lambs and had a sit down in afternoon:love:.......sandwiched in between was a fantastic cheque from last weeks mart in the post... £250 more than i'd hoped...the star being a cull ewe at £142:oops:

OK nils desperandum...i have two lines of defence 1/ technicality....mrs spin said i couldn't eat 'one'.....i've eaten two;).....2/ all that 'gangster prog binge' has given me an idea;).....i'm gonna 'fit up' one a the felines 😁😁😁

No thought Spin of those who haven’t had a fresh warm mince pie today, how cruel to your readers.

i've been spared....i've eaten 5......boy has eaten 2.....but he made the pastry cos mrs spin reckons he's 'the king of pastry' so he's 'allowed to' ....she's not bloomin wrong about the pastry though:love:

one problem remains.....al those mince pies have to survive the night and i fear i might go 'sister assumpta' on them😭

Ken,ell.....you really are the last of the big spenders @spin cycle , £1 and five pence!!!!!🙄

As you'd blagged a free jacket and it being the season of good will and all that old cobblers, I thought you'd be a tad more generous 😯

Around here they make the slot in the top of the collection box only wide enough for notes😰 they had a purple one out of me last time as that was all I had😭😭😭😭
Hopefully it should get me entry upstairs with the big man🙏 😇although it's probably more fun down below 👿👹🔥

Few questions.

Did mrs spin order a new washing machine?
Did you put all the 'coin' in the collection?
Do you want to go pub after church?🤣🤣
Surely you had enough mince pies last night....?😳
I'll answer then for him....
*No, spinney bodged, oops fixed the old one.
*Yes, but spinney tied a piece of string to it so he could pull it back out again when no one's watching so he's got it for next time.
*Yes, but he's a lightweight and he'd be buggered till wednesday, atleast!!!!!
*You can't have too many mince pies!!!!

just woke up  .....came in shattered...had tea....went up to change and flaked out.......house was quiet cos cinders + mrs spin wrapping presents for a neighbour.....had a weird dream:rolleyes:.....probably won't get back to sleep now :banghead:

it'd been a busy day.....2 hours mopping floors first up as i try to straighten up admirals quarters

usual sheepy chores

took lambs in to abattoir that shoulda gone last week......on the way out a guy queing in a silver discovery gave a big friendly smile.....don't think i know him :scratchhead:...i have a bandanna mask so looked pretty 'dangerous' perhaps he's heard about my 'gangster connections'😁

on the radio driving home they were talking to a gp about the coming vaccination drive....her practice doubling up from 1000/day .....got me thinking how many we sheepy ppl could do with a sterimatic😁......it musta filtered into my 'weird dream'.....i'd gone up to our local vaccination centre....K had come with me and i'd taken two sterimatic guns....the vaccine only came in 25 dose bottles so K was going to switch bottles/needles/caps etc to keep me going......anyway after about an hour a gp comes over and hails K 'we're getting complaints from some of the more frail patients about the blob of purple spray mark you're putting on the back of their necks'....K is shocked/crestfallen....i'm mid vaccination but call out 'it's ok i told her to do it'.....vaccination done i pause....gesture to the gp to come closer and whisper 'once the withdrawl is up you want rid of those' :bag:
