Now @spin cycle the other day when your beloved thread went a little tractor pornish, I seem you remember you questions the state of mind of some fellow members. Yet here you are just a few days later openly admitting that, to quote " looking at wood gives you wood"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤣

@spin cycle ,
what do you know about the christian shrine at walsingham ,
just been up at bulb field ,helping putting fence up and a few jobs ,
and an indian family ,stop for a look , and the daughter in law ,in her reasonable english asks if can have a look in field ,as over on holiday from the kerala reigon of india ,so opened gate and had a wander up field with them , she said they where visiting the christian shrine at walsingham ,as a pilgrimidge place by all accounts , and is the most educated state and has the highest ratio of women to men ,

I remember being at Wells once and all of a sudden it went from being a quaint Norfolk seaside town to a scene from the best exotic marigold hotel.
I asked a chap on car parking duties and he said that they had all been to Walsingham and after theyd preyed or made an offering or whatever it is they do they had to go to the sea to wash there feet!!!!!! I don't know if he was pulling the pee but they all descended into the beach and Into the water!🤷
My aunty who was a teacher in leicester said they are Tamils, who ever they are!?

Everyone if them I met that day were all perfectly potite.

Ah, that explains it, I've often wondered as I couldn't work out the connection between Hindu and Walsingham.
Rum place to have a shrine thought!!! Bradford or south London may have been a better location for the shrine.

Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.
In 1061 a woman named Richeldis de Faverches had a vision of the Virgin Mary, in which she was told to build a shrine, a replica of the house lived in by Jesus at Nazareth. This 'Holy House' in Little Walsingham became a centre for pilgrimage from across Europe.

Please can I have a diagram with bullet points, all these Tamils, karmels ,karela or whatever they're called aswell as Catholics is far to confusing for little old me. Religious education at school never was my favourite subject!!!!

And what's a protestant got to do with anything???? Isn't that what a doctor examines when he asks you to touch your toes??????!!!!!!!😯🤣
