Did you enjoy your Red Tractor Christmas dinner?

Obviously everybody was looking for the RT logo when buying their Christmas food, so how was it? Did it taste better than the imported stuff that isn’t assured?

Or anybody like me now actually buy stuff that does not have the logo on purpose?

The only thing that had tractor on for my Christmas dinner were our spuds. Agria,and they were bloody lovely!

no it was terrible there was rat poison on the veg mouse sh!t in the bread sauce the carrots were not straight or the right colour oh that's it they were parsnips and the turkey turned out to be horse could even trace the individual grains to the farm that grew them, I don't know what we would do with out them good old red tractor

Christmas dinner was lovely, haven’t a clue if any of it was RT assured, there certainly wasn’t any RT marking on the bag of spuds or net of carrots, anything else , I haven’t a clue, I didn’t look.

My mum made the Xmas cakes in September. Fed them Irish whisky since.
Brandy Mince pies.
Sherry Trifle.

May not be Red Tractor, but I approved it with my own certification standard.

Didn't see a red tractor logo on anything.
But then the chicken was a cock I'd hatched early summer and prepared Christmas eve, the venison was given to me by someone who does culling a few miles away, the sausages and bacon came from the slaughter house that take most of my fat cattle. A lot of the veg came from the garden here, including the last of the potatoes dug a week ago (and carefully sorted for slugs!)

We had lamb too, don't usually bother with it as its fairly expensive but one of the supermarkets had it on special probably didn't make export grade.
Must admit it was pretty good.
