Used to use Keenan for years went to a 20cu used rmh twin tub done a lot of work never Caused little trouble . went to a siloking 28cu for more capacity and again caused Little trouble. Only bits with them both were conveyors that causes problems. Fantastic machines will save u a massive amount of time and are very reliable. Rs Agri took over rmh I believe. Siloking a awesome bit of kit built very well. Keenans are good but slow

There's a fair bit more to go wrong on a Keenan than our tub. We were well fed up of mending our Klassik 140, even the "improved" parts.

That’s who I spoke to for a ballpark figure
Give me a snapped chain over a buggerd gear box any day . And the new Keenan s have oil immersed chains .
our old shelbourne reynolds was a right pain near the end of its life everything was slightly worn and flexed abit so it would throw a chain off for no reason When it got abit to much pressure new chains and lots of welding didn’t help Much

the new strautmann with a gearbox is in a different league when it comes to build quality Can chop bales in 1000 shaft and low revs

just chop it in and let some other bugger worry about it with worn out tubs then🙈

Shelbourne Reynolds haven't used the chain system for many years.
