Difference between "Open Center" and "LS Pressure on Demand" Front end loader valve?

As above. I have found out that a Nimco CV452 loader control valve is the equivalent to the old Nimco 2s-4590 valve, on which I have snapped of the end of one of the spools. I have down loaded Nimco CV452 spec sheet and I see on the drawings that it available as Open Center or LS Pressure on Demand", which version is more lightly the one fitted on my old MF (Steelfab) 820 loader? Thanks.

At a best guess it I'd be open center but it will depend on the tractor model number not the loader.

The existing loader valve will have a small 1/4- max 3/8 pipe feeding into the bottom of the valve along with the P & T lines if it is already load sensing.
You didn't say what model of tractor it's on so I'm only speculating here.

Thanks. It is an old MF390 tractor and the loader is an MF820 made by Steelfab (Cardiff)
I will try and get a replacement spool
from Nimco, I did say try!!!

its open center then so, it might be a carryover but if so its only a fitting you screw into it, if there's just two pipes supplying it then its as basic as it gets, if there's three then it has the carry over fitted.
them pipes will be cumming in from the bottom and one on the side if the carryover is there, im guessing two pipes just, they will be the ones cumming in from under the tractor cab area.
