Our farm is at the end of a lowest grade council road which was concreted by the previous owners of our farm, neighbours farm is 200 yards away, off the same lane, we have always had a strained relationship although no major problems. They put in for planning last year for a 120x60 sheep shed which would need major excavation, this shed will be around 150 yards from our yard and the excavation will sit it well down so not really on the skyline.I looked at the plans which looked fine so did not raise any objection, other than asking the neighbour where the spoil was going,"cut and fill" was the reply as if to say they could dispose of it around the site. After a week of digging there is now a heap of spoil 20 feet high 50 yards from our house right in front, which was not in the planning,it has been moved there with dump trailers and looks permanent (not good enough stone for re use),not sure what to do now,Anyone any thoughts very grateful for any advice.
