digested on potato land

hi as the price of chemical fertiliser has goen sky high this year im thinking of applying digested as a sorce of fertiliser and was wondering is there any1 on here has used it before on potato land as ive never used it and looking information about it ie how did crops grow with it and would it be advisable to use it on its own are both digested and chemical fert any help would be great thanks in advance

Whats your market? Check with your customer. I'd avoid digestate made from food waste, no worries with AD fed maize, silage, slurry etc.
Check your soil analysis. Polysulphate is very useful here. We place a small amount of DAP, use pig muck, cow muck & cover crops for nutrition too. Top dress with liquid N mixed with the pre em herbicide

I have supplied it to a friend to try on one field (non food waste), he had some secondary growth, he was not certain it was from the digestate, but he now applies it the year before the spuds and says that is fine.
