Digger hydraulic track tensioner not releasing!!

One of the tracks has popped off our 8 tonner (teukuchi tb180fr)

It's got a hydraulic tensioner, which is about 2" extended out.

So can't get the track back on til the tensioner returns!

Should be easy, but I've undone the release valve...... nothing

So took the big nut off that the release release screw sits in..... nothing!
When the big nut is off, in the ram it's just a dead end with a very small hole in it.

Any ideas to release the tension?

TIA

Are you sure you've undone the right bit,it's usually the bit that the grease nipple is on,push the idler in with your bucket.(y)

No experience of oil system only grease Pistons but presuming piston set up is same/similar ?
If so it may just be stuck on seals can bind up pretty tight had one off a 16 tonner at 90tonnes in press before popped few years ago

I see there is a valve in the back of the ram (hex head sticking out) best to loosen this if you cant get oil out the pipe, when pushing back.

Sorted (y)

When I told brother, he went straight to the workshop and got all the tools needed....... like someone who's had to sort this a time or two!

Problem is that the track slips off, this let's the tensioner fully extend and lock up.

The tension ram has a valve in it to release the pressure to make changing tracks easy....... problem is that these valves just don't work, we don't know why, we've taken them apart and everything seems fine.

So anyway, we took the two hydraulic pipes of the tension cylinder, then took the tension relief valve screw assembly off.

This let us knock the valve innards out from the pipe side.
Hey pesto the pressure releases, lose abit of oil.

Put track back on, resemble valve and pipes, fire up, press go fast button, job done.
