View attachment 329090 I've got rake buckets, for the 3,8 & 22 tonners, like a ditching/grading bucket shape, but made of plates 75mm apart, so it's a rake and a sort of riddle bucket as well. They work really well as you can pick things up easily.
Not the best pick of it, but the only one I can find.
The last two were from Vemac engineering, and were verg good value I thought, 8tonner one was about £450 iirc, but I'd give Evans & Reid a call also, as I've had very good service from them. Once you've got one it's surprising what you end up using it on(y)
what size is your bucket for £450 ? probably cost 200 quid to botch something up but £450 I buy one already made up and can all ways sell it the future ( never do though) do you have a number or name with some one you dealt with

The bucket n that pic is an 8 tonner size, 1500mm wide, here's a pic I've just taken of it, about the same profile as a standard grader, don't quote me but £450 was about the sort of money I think. I got that one from Vemac Engineering, I think the guys name is Vincent 07980 588873, he also supplied one for a 22tonner at the same time, iirc about £1k. I think I saved a quid or two by having fixed pins and not loose pins in bushes, but it wasn't much difference.
The one on the three tonner was a bit cheaper, can't remember where that came from, Attachments UK rings a bell, found them on eBay I think, it's a bit small in profile if I'm honest, but still a very useful tool, I chased the guy after the bigger ones but he never got back to me, so I stopped calling! Both those guys were in Ireland.
But as I said I would definitely give Evans and Reid a call, I've had good service from them and found them very competitive, and were rapid on the build of a special bucket when I needed it quickly.
