its long time since I used MST hear in the North East but they do have branch in Glasgow , not sure there is huge choice of people who do that that other than cat and MST .

if you have the chains and bolts already plus some bottles and good windy gun you could do it yourself but it is time consuming job.

In Aberdeenshire Tip top tracks is the man. You'll find him on Facebook. Not sure how far he travels. I got a price from someone at the black isle show. To compare and to get a hat. Ashtrack? I'll have to find the hat and read it to confirm the name.

What ever you buy don't buy cheap chains unless your selling it soon , I put Berco chains on my 13 t and there great lasting chains , I brought the tracks to mcsharryies and they cut off the bolts and put the pads on the new chains . Some chains they can rebush and pin which works out cheaper.

Steve Woods Ltd - highly recommended

I'll also vouch for this company - the only company that could be arsed to come out and repair my old Yumbo track and spring damper.

Sent two lads for two days for my repair, as they had to take the ram back to the workshop, and the cost was very reasonable.

What would it cost to do the chains and sprockets on a 13 ton machine roughly just to supply the parts would be able to fit myself?
It's a hellish job, I did it once on a 20 tonner, 98 links x by 4 bolts per link blew off all the bolts with the gas torch nearly broke my back doing it, bent double all day :inpain:

Astral who have depot at Kirkcaldy 01592 655770, are excellent to deal with but I don’t know if they do an on site service.
We go to them collect what we need and fit the parts ourselves, but as @sawdust has said changing track pads is a hellish job.

@Andrew1983 , I would certainly give them a call going on our passed experience.
