have a nearly 4yr old obsessed with diggers!, anybody able to recommend a good sit on / ride on type digger for his age group? we have worked our way through the usual stuff from the likes of Smyths, but they are all pretty horrible for kids to use!
Would love to find something that s battery operated even, have a tractor and front loader already!, but if I could find a digger that is put together as well as the tractor stuff is it would be brilliant!, would really love to see what is about that could maybe get him for his birthday at the start of summer.

My lad has this, great fun but we've gained a few holes in the garden.

my wife got our son this for Christmas and he loves it. He's not quite strong enough for it but he's not long turned 2 and it's a bit stiff needs some use on it to loosen it up. His sister is 4 and can use it fine though. Think it came from smyths toys.
I don't know where you would find any battery powered ones.

You should be making those and selling them.

Is there a way you could get the thing to work from 3 levers so you get the boom up/down, stick in/out and the bucket to curl etc?

I'm sure it could be done but would add a fair bit of extra linkages and such, it works pretty well with the bucket and stick linked as they are, I'll see if I can get a video of him in action later.

Yea I thought one of those was going to do the job and he has got a bit of time out of it, but he gets very frustrated with it as its not very steerable and the bucket empties before he gets it over his trailer!!
Think he's just got that bit older and is looking for a bit more refinement!! 😬, so just trying to figure out if there is much else about!
