Dig a soak away in the bottom to make sure rain has some where to go. Friend did this and it filled with water. He Lives in a high water table area, [emoji849]

Square/rectangular or round? Make sure water can get out of hole, put plastic on bottom and around sides to stop weeds growing. Used sleepers and posts to retain garden for a square one but round would be trickier.

They have just put one in at the village play ground they haven't dug a pipe to ditch so time will tell if it fills up with water. Kids love it though and it's safe for smaller kids

We did it with a round 14ft trampoline, we put in 1 soakaway pipe.... it wasn't enough and it kept having stagnant water at the bottom. Filled it in after 6 months. Our ground is clay and with a high water table, but it was great when it was dry. Do it.

We just dug it round with no wall supports.

What about a trampoline with a safety net around it? That’s what my daughter uses. Very safe for fearless and energetic toddlers!

Would save a lot of work.

submerged a trampoline for little one so trampoline surface same level as surrounding lawn. Just dug a hole, not required any drainage. Dogs love trying to get under neath - when not in use. Kid loves it, and mum not going on about falling off and breaking a limb. Just do it, can always add drainage later if required.
