My formula was spotless yard scraping, trimming twice a year, foot bathing with hoofsure 4x a week also do the dry cows 2x a week we don't have digi any more.

We just scrape passageways twice daily in winter and I don't think we will get on top of it without some form of auto scrapers, won't see a case between now and housing though.

25l of formalin in 1000l of water just run them through once but religiously do it every Monday, if I stop now in the main grazing season it'll appear again in mid summer.

To be fair we would cull any persistent cases and be out on grass as soon as possible, Feb-Dec.

Is it being banned yet, they were supposed to ban it years ago.
Ive been using forumalin all winter, had a rep try and sell me some liquid lime, says them that use it have very good results. I tried mixing a bag of lime in the water bath last week, a lot of the cows feet have been stained white and to be honest the foot bath smelt awful after they'd all been through it.

I've mixed a bag of lime with copper in the foot bath, the lime helps it stick to their feet.

Been on copper sulphate now for a while, about 4 days a week since they went out but still loads of digi
I have been told 10% copper sulphate for 3 consecutive days so that is the next plan

You won't simple answer, you can only control it in the dormant stage once you have it.

How long is your foot bath? You need 3 dunks per foot to get the best results from your foot bath.

Yes pick up and treat individual cases all the time, and they respond well

Bath is about 8 ft long
I don't think it is clean enough , even with refilling half way through milking

So they are only getting one dunk per foot?
You need to double the length of the foot bath.
Your probably curing cases but getting reinfection due to poor control methods.
