Cheers folks, the leg should be ok but I think I'll go crazy sitting about the house house! First night home from hospital the wife told me there was no point setting my alarm, 'you've nothing to get up in the morning for'- ha thanks!
I've a friend buying draft ewes for a good farm and he'll be averaging just slightly over 3 crops from them. Great lasting ewes!

A gimmer in Scotland is a shearling in England. They won't be tupped as gimmer lambs

We left at almost 5pm and there were still 270 ish sheep to sell! I only got 1 didnt, wait had a grumpy wife and child getting restless. Left it with a friend to get another 1. I thought it was a bloody dear sale today, good tups were dear and even average ones i never locked twice at were pricey!

Yes most are two shears, they get used at home for a year before selling as two shears, there is tups of all ages though! the tups in the pics will be 2shears.

I don't work with hill sheep, but that looks a real good un to me. Better top line than most of the ncc tup photos I see.
