Dipping tank

I am building a dipping tank for my sheep and was wondering if 4 inch blocks are strong enough for the sides. Also is there any tips on keeping water out of them I am going to plaster it.

Will it not be sunk in the floor?

Mine has big gate crooks concreted in (6 of them) and there is a tin roofed frame that swings up in 3 places which you can walk on, the top blocks are 6” higher than the floor around it so water doesn’t go in from the sides only the ends flow in.
