In 2017 we launched Direct Driller Magazine, Frankly, we had no idea if it would be a success or not against a background where most other Ag publications are declining and had very little idea how to produce what we were determined would be a high-quality magazine that was a genuine, independent interest to readers
2 years on and we find ourselves a victim of its success, it has been well received and has grown to a point where producing it takes a lot of our time. We are starting to think that we need to bring others on board to help and continue to grow it
Frankly, we have no idea just what the perfect person might be! They may have a journalistic background, maybe research or scientific or maybe a farmer, farmers' wife, son or daughter, etc. or maybe all or indeed none of those things! What we do know is they have to share our passion and enthusiasm for the subject
Obviously this would be a paid position, it could be full or part-time but ultimately production of the magazine each quarter would be your responsibility
I'm interested in hearing from anyone who thinks they would like to be a part of this exciting project
