Direct drilling / strip-till seed rate

I built a simba freeflow conversion with JJ Metcalfe legs (50mm openers) for this season. Has anyone had experience with similar drills and seed establishment? I've drilled cereals with our old Moore Unidrill before and increased the seed rate to allow for the reduced germination rate.

I'm thinking of going 15% up with the drill as some of our cover crops look a little patchy, so I'm getting a bit nervous going into the autumn drilling...

Cheers all

Better to have a too thick crop than too thin, depending on where you are and soil moisture it should be a good autumn for dd.
