Most people are drilled up I expect but has anyone got any to do or done it in the past?
I've got a field I want to plant and the window is open until mid February but we're in a good dry spell now. It's not quite dry enough yet I think, but do I risk it soon?
I didn't plant it in the autumn because I've got a Claydon and there was too much grass for the tines to pull through without dragging up. I grazed it with sheep and then glyphosate late September.
I pulled discs through part of the field quite shallow in October as an experiment to see what was best. This might prove problematic as that will take longer to dry. Tempted to run through again on that part to get it aired a bit.
Anyone got any experience with this?
