I'm having the same dilemma about my game covers & AB9 winter seed mixtures. With a possible change of weather in early June I'm just going to sow then next week into the dust & hope they don't germinate until we've had a decent rain.

Seen the same forecast, 3 days of possible intermittent showers...

Think I will leave my foray with Aitchison until I see a deffo forecast for rain. Already lost freshly germinated seeds that just ran out of moisture. The brassica game/WB mix seems to be dealing with teh drought slightly better, but now the grey plague and FB have found them and the seedlings are sooooo s l o w...

Feathered Rats...pigeons! :)

Half an acre of clover they can go at, but no... have to take the seedling brassicae. My daughter went to try and pop a couple for the pot, but one bang, and gone. Would put a scarer, but I anticipate it would get short thrift from one "neighbour" who is an arsey git!

Can you not get your daughter to shoot him, sounds more productive ?
