Yes very happy, can see every seam across the field and equal if not better to the scratch till stuff next door

Sunflower residue still standing about 3-4' tall, I think some will still be above the crop at harvest. This field received no glyphosate, so far only Liberator and Spitfire applied. Seems to have done a reasonable job on weeds except for the occasional barley plant.

My winter cover crop is still flowering, although over the next few weeks it will be grazed by sheep. Hopefully there will be some re-growth before spring,

Extase drilled end of September with a Claydon. 4 inches of rain last week and another inch last night and today and more coming by the sounds of it.

The wheat was drilled with a Kuhn SD4000, see my post on the previous page for pics of that. The covers were scratched in using an Amazone Primera the day after the straw was cleared.

We still have the caddy and GD, but have done a deal with Weaving to trade it for a new front hopper. Changeover due in June as we have no spring drilling other than maize.

The top image is Costello WW drilled on 18 September. On the left drilled with a Mzuri and on the right a Weaving GD. Not a lot to choose between them at the moment.

The bottom image is Gleam WW drilled with a Mzuri 22 September. It has retained its colour quite well as the snow has melted
