Looking at a disc mower and wondering how high a stubble you can achieve in a cutting ley, using topping skids?

We do most of our topping with a mower and just use standard skids with the top link much longer than normal and could run it even longer if we wanted to
What sort of height can you achieve with this method? No issues with dragging with a skid not level...
