Discs cracking

We have a set of 6 meter short discs 4 years old, does about 450 ac per year so not much for a wide machine. Having a look round it today and where the discs bolt onto the bearing with 4 bolts quite a few are cracking. The disc only have little wear. Would anyone expect the discs to start cracking at this age, would welding be any good or pi££ing in the wind..?

Shouldn't be cracking like that after 4x years.
Finest Chineseum materials no doubt or possibly a bad batch
I wouldn't hold out much hope of success welding them without it happening again almost immediately.
The issue being they are heat treated & will likely crack either through the weld or alongside the weld.

It’s a British manufacturer of the machine, but god knows where he got the discs from. I will be asking.

I meant proper disc set ie simbas.

These aren’t from a certain Polish short disc manufacturer then?
