Didn't stay to see that sold. Looked ok. I saw the White Horse buyer floating around Di maybe they bought it back?

Was interested the set of Twose rolls but they were not the same set as pictured on @Stags Farm Agency website which was a bit annoying!

Weather was crap and prices nothing special. I left before the rush and expect it was interesting getting out the sale field once it churned up.

A sticky field doesn’t mean a sticky trade!

A wet and sticky entrance greeted salegoers at Cheriton Farm, Cheriton Bishop on Monday the 21st March but this did not deter a large crowd from attending the Farm Machinery sale on behalf of Messrs M W & J M R Dobin. The sale included some exceptionally clean modern machinery which attracted purchasers from 6 counties with many of the main lots being the subject of competitive bidding.

Top price on the day was £22,000 which was reached by the 2009 Case Maxxum Multi Controller 125 4WD Tractor with 6,117 hours on the clock. Auctioneer Stafford Sampson proceeded to sell the smart M4 14 Tonne Silage Trailer for a hammer price of £9,000 with the West 2000 Dung Spreader which was similarly tidy achieving £8,000. Other notable prices included the Kidd 450TC Bale Shredder selling for £6,000, the smart M4 Bale Trailer achieving £4,700 and £2,500 for a Vicon Fanex 4 Star Tedder.

A number of outside entries were presented in the sale with the pick of the day being a set of Twose 6.4m ring rollers attracting a lot of interest and finally being sold for £4,300 exceeding the vendors expectations, and a IAE Cattle weigh crush which sold for £2,900.
