Hi,

I am currently studying Agriculture with Agronomy at Newcastle University and am in the process of completing my dissertation.
I would hugely appreciate some people on a control traffic farming system coming forward who wouldn't mind me coming and taking some penetrometer readings to analyse whether the effects of CTF are becoming apparent on your land, i.e. reduced compaction and earth worm activity.
The University have lent me a digital penetrometer for accurate measurements and are particularly interested in any farmers in Northern England. However, I am based at home in Warwickshire so would also be able to travel further South in the next few weeks, as I did a few times over Christmas.
If anyone is interested in helping me out please get in touch, I will create maps to link with GPS from the penetrometer so may also be of interest to you!

Many thanks
Chloe Lockhart
