DIY small scale seed cleaner

Thanks @Clive . Interestingly, YouTube thought that after watching that I would be keen to see various episodes of "Britains got Talent" - which is perhaps an insight into your internet history.

Is it scaled up just by width and height, but the same depth as the original?

There used to be one of those in every farm sale. Not difficult to make something. I made one up to clean "waste" corn got free from a grain handling plant. Here's a photo of an original on Ebay. There should be plenty on sites advertising farm machinery for the third world.

@Clive, @Kiwi Pete & @SilliamWhale - did you ever build your versions of these cleaners, or scaled up versions of the originals? Could you put up some photos if so please?

I have just obtained a sheet of perspex as the starting point to building one.
No, I just bought an electric leaf blower and used a bulk bag with a piece of PVC conduit shoved into it, swung it from a chain block and blew the seed clean as it fell - actually worked really well for what I needed to do this year

Inching ever closer, there is now a pile of stuff in my living room ready to assemble one of these. The triangular pieces can be made very easily from the corner posts of those wooden trays greengrocers seem to throw out - they are exactly the right dimensions.

This thread will hopefully bring together the thread I started about growing coriander seed, and the one about buying a vacuum cleaner. It's like painting by numbers.
