Do any Massey tractors post 6200 series have opening sun roofs?

Every Massey I have owned including 3000, 6100 and 6200 series have all had sun roofs.

Went to see two 6480s today and neither had an opening sun roof (nor working air con) which made them like hot houses! Do any Massey tractors post 6200 series have opening sun roofs? TIA.

Up to 6200 series they were standard fitment, 64/74 on they are an optional extra.
Really miss the roof hatch on my 74 but it was bought out of dealer stock so I took what was available, don’t see many with them, don’t know wether that’s because many don’t feel the need or because it’s an expensive option

Get air con fixed, air con in my 6465 is first class even in very hot days very quick too

This is @DeeGee we are talking about.... nearly fell off the bog when I read he was actually thinking of spending money.

But never fear @DeeGee for I have a Top Tip.
Buy a cordless angle grinder and a few cutting discs (yes, money again) and make your own sun roof. That way, you can have it any size you like

Having mulled it over whilst eating my cornflakes, I have come up with a better idea than the angle grinder .... and more importantly @DeeGee cheaper.

When you next get an electricity bill, climb on to roof of the tractor, lay your head on the top, open bill.
You will bite through the roof.
Now, the important thing is ... once you've bitten through, keeping going in a circular motion until like Vera Lynn, you meet again
Voilà... Sun roof

Thank me later

Still nice to have the option of natural fresh air though.

In my (limited) experience with air con it seems to forever need fixing!
Are systems fitted to newer tractors generally more long lasting and reliable than in my experience?

I love air con, I don't like the heat....

But I do like having a window or sunroof you can have cracked open to let a bit of fresh air in.

Am on a brand new John Deere 6155 and that has a sunroof, most Fendts do and the smaller new Holland cabs have one at the front you can open.

Over around 5 years mines been good, I have it on vertually all the time it’s operating as it dehumidifies the air to not done massive hours over that time.
judging how well it works I would definitely spend money to fix it especially on a new to me tractor just hack some off the price.
Don’t forget side windows open on cab at either side for fresh air

On a class i know but my mate put a 12v fan next to the right side opening window to draw air in, it worked well as it blew at you when you were turned ploughing etc. Iv often thought about it on my 6480 but me aircon works.
I refuse to sit in dust. Only got one set of lungs.

Many thanks for all the replies and ideas.
Don’t mind getting the air con done if it’s a long term fix!

Would still like the option of more fresh air though: may take up Baldrick’s suggestion of an angle grinder. Thank you Baldrick, helpful as ever.

The air con works fine on all my 62’s none of them have been touched.
Must get it sorted on my 74, it’s not a lot colder than hot now ☹️

FFS … buy a classic Deutz Agrostar
Not only do you get easily fixed mechanicals, you also get an opening front window.
This not only gives you as much fresh air as you can shake a stick at, it also gives you aural sex from its straight six air cooled engine.
Win Win I say
