Do I need PP to site caravan next to shed whilst it's built?

Back at the start of the year I have been given the go ahead to put up a 60x40 general purpose shed on a green field site on my farm. I used the prior notification procedure for this.
I have been given 5 years to finish the project.
Am I able to live in a caravan on site whilst the work is being completed? I'd be interested to hear from anyone with experience having done this

Think I have read somewhere that you can for security and building your business, but that was a while ago, but once building is up you have to vacate if no permission for accommodation was granted. Might have all changed since then as that was back in 2014

The answer is, of course, no. Everyone knows that, but when has that stopped anyone trying, good luck!
you can put a mobile home in for seasonal workers without planning, I have one for when I had harvest students, not had anyone in now for years but I shan’t be getting rid of it anytime soon...

Thanks for replying all. I've recently taken over running the family farm (alongside my day to day job) but unfortunately the house and buildings were sold off over 10 years ago.

It's been a bit of a slog but I've just managed to get planning for a general purpose shed so I can at least store some tools on site. I'm having to start from scratch (purchase tractor, and kit etc.) so funds are a bit limited hence the need to build slowly over 5 years.

I live over 30mins away so was hoping there would be a way to live on site whilst I build the shed and look after the stock etc.

Unfortunately all of the local farmhouses nearby have been sold off to the 'wannabe farmer elite' so they are not particularly supportive of me coming back to farm, so I won't be able to just stick a caravan up and hope for the best.

"In the majority of cases, a caravan can be temporarily located on a site and lived in if used in connection with development taking place on the land, such as building a new home. The position of councils does vary, however, so where you plan to live on site during the build, it is best to include a caravan as part of the planning application for the property".
