Do we have this in the UK? If not why not?

Dear TFF,

Having not shopped for milk in the UK for a number of years, I don't know if there is an equvulient?

The translation reads that 40c/lt goes back to the breeder ( Framer. )

What a fantastic idea! ( Sadly I have no idea if milk can be produced with a margin for 40c/lt but I believe so. )

Best

Morrisons do it already through Arla, with a promoted 23p extra per pack (see text below) or 10.1p/L
For which they charge the punter 10p/L extra over the same milk - 58.1p/L v 48p/L normally.
(Comparison done with the 2.27L size).

Be a lot better if they showed how much the "primary producer" was paid.

For example on Milk "Dairy farmers are paid on average 28 ppl for fresh milk

On Beef, pork, lamb etc last month's average price for was P/kg liveweight

On Veg We pay our growers £x/tonne for carrots/spuds/cauliflower etc

Of course, there would be outcry at home much the supermarkets take both farmers & shoppers for a ride!
