115 on the fusion here plenty big enough on the whole, could do with a few more horses though

Has the RP 12 got a net kit on it ? We never had much luck with the one retro fitted on ours it would do a few acres then start playing up.The main problem was it would never cut the net clean and start letting net in mid bale .
Maybe it was a poor kit fitted .

No, it's a string one.... Although it does have the twin string system that throws 2 strings in at once to tie the bale faster ... If it decides to works on the day!

This main problem with the HP thing is other people in my opinion. I quite agree on a round baler or square (size depending) you don't really need big HP, used to manage fine with 110hp - 125hp on both rounds and 4 string squares.

The thing that's started causing issues for me resulting in the need for more HP was other contractors (1 in particular) going around telling customers that my tractor wasn't big enough to be pulling a square baler and that meant I couldn't get the bales as tight as his 150-200hp tractors. Which is a load of rubbish I know but unfortunately some people would listen to him and we eventually moved into bigger hp just to keep the work, silly I know.
