I use docks as a KPI - if they are still standing then you haven't grazed hard enough! I generally don't worry about them too much as they are at least edible, as long as you don't get particularly dense patches.

Loads of dock beetle here, which helps a bit too.

I've read a few articles on training cattle to eat docks by pulling some up put in a trough and give the docks a spray of molasses,
Repeat til cattle actively go eating docks.

I was going to try it on a really docky field earlier this year..... but the cattle eat all the docks before i had a chance to try to train them
