Docks in new ley

How well established does a new ley have to be before you can spray it for docks with Doxstar Pro ? Anybody ?
Thanks in advance

Most weed sprays are 3 leaf stage onwards.

If they are seedlings a less expensive chemical will do the job.
If they are old docks coming off established roots they'll take more beating.
It was old grass we took on last year . Burned it off , ploughed and put into kale for winter . Power harrowed and back into grass four weeks ago.
Didn’t spray it before I put it back to grass as there was nothing to spray .
Docks have appeared with vengeance! They don’t look like seedlings if that makes sense even though they were sprayed and ploughed in last year .
