Simon Clode has been in touch wondering if we know of any farmers thinking of going no-till or in the early years of conversion, as he's hoping to make a documentary about soil health etc and is looking for stars...I said the easiest thing would be post it on here and ask for volunteers.

'Beneath Us' is a feature-length documentary intended for theatrical release looking at the degradation of the Earths soil. Currently in the R&D stage of production and looking for contributors to the film. They are keen to talk to all farmers but especially those who are thinking of changing to conservation agriculture or have recently done so.

If this sounds interesting to anyone, email him on [email protected]. I ought to point out that the 'R&D stage' means that the film won't necessarily happen, but it's looking good. Book your seat for the Oscars!

@Clive ,why not put yourself forward, as you would be such a good advert for direct drilling, and you can show the benefits of Direct Drilling on the soil and the ecosystem that goes with it.

I've offered
I wish you well. I also wish that Countryfile could be persuaded to come and see how you are improving your soil and whole farm ecosystem, and that Chris Packham would be invited along to see how you are farming for the benefit of the soil and wild life. I guess dream on as that would not suit his agenda.
I am intending to send a copy of your Direct Driller magazine to Countryfile and suggest they may consider visiting your farm, will that be ok.
