Most of them were hard worked, some had replacement engines during there working life.
Some had replacement tractors.
Restored tractors are not for everyone, some like them as "barn finds"
I dont know how much of this tractor is original or if just they had replacement engines?
I did think it would make a bit more

I think they were looking for 11k for the JD4430, but thebidding stopped around 6k I think.
Classic tractor have been going up in value over the last year , I dont know were the money comes from.
I feel it's time to hold on to money, I dont think tractors will be the pension nest egg some people think.

Its like gold, when to buy and when to sell,
Buying at high price is never a good idea, as the investment bubble will eventually burst

Thought that leyland looked reasonable value, but after reading your comment I’d rather have the Deere…
