I read it as it started as a Doe 130, ie 2x 5000s and is now 2x 7000s, so engines changed to the 7000 turbocharged engine?

Okay. So not an original, therefore, this surely reflects in the price achieved,

Most of them were hard worked, some had replacement engines during there working life.
Some had replacement tractors.
Restored tractors are not for everyone, some like them as "barn finds"
I dont know how much of this tractor is original or if just they had replacement engines?
I did think it would make a bit more

I think they were looking for 11k for the JD4430, but thebidding stopped around 6k I think.
Classic tractor have been going up in value over the last year , I dont know were the money comes from.
I feel it's time to hold on to money, I dont think tractors will be the pension nest egg some people think.

Its like gold, when to buy and when to sell,
Buying at high price is never a good idea, as the investment bubble will eventually burst

Thought that leyland looked reasonable value, but after reading your comment I’d rather have the Deere…

The Leyland could be a nice tractor, but at 6k and a lot of work need to get it right.

282 tho was my thinking but maybe I'm wrong, they are all 262 or 272, price stuff is getting now nothing is under 10k, go looking a decent 956 & won't have much change from 15k.
