If its a big unit probably not, if he is, he probably doesn't post.
Its always seem to me that TFF, Agricultural Matters in particular, has a large percentage of smaller farmers. Its why I often say I don't think TFF is a true reflection of British Ag.

they aint big farmers.

I haven’t seen the demographics of TFF members but for every 10 there were 7-8 “small farmers” a couple of medium sized and one barley baron that seems representative IMO. The next step is to define small, medium and large. It’s not just acres or headage. Number of people drawing a living from the farm? Probably a hybrid of all 3.

Not sure if I would agree with you about the previous farm manager. He had to dance to the previous owner's tune, and was one of the few who would put up with him. I could tell a few stories......
I would I worked for him threatened me several times and after I left he came to a very sticky end .Bowman Shaw wasn't to bad shame the farm was lost because of Lacer boss . Even he was frightened of the management I witnessed it myself.

Often the case, good manager or other team member held up by shall we say, 'local politics'.
I think it was the other way around they jumped to the management and I m talking about the 90s I experienced everyone leaving because of the bad atmosphere there think what you like until you ve worked with someone you don't truly appreciate what it's like end of I m not saying anything else thanks best forget and move on.
